The catchment area of the school is fairly extensive, with pupils from the village being joined by those from Inverbeg to the north, Arden to the south and Muirlands to the west.
At Luss Primary School, we cater for the wide range of ability levels in our mixed age-group classes and diverse interests of our pupils. We strive to deliver a broad curriculum in line with National Guidelines and recognised good practice, with particular emphasis on attaining high standards of pupil achievement. Our classroom activities often include work outside in our local environment and visits further afield. We have been awarded three green flags.
Through learning and following by example, we encourage our pupils to show concern for one another, to care for their school and their environment, to develop their individual personalities and become caring and responsible members of the wider community. We have very good school/home links and believe that a good parent/child/teacher partnership greatly assists us in all aspects of school life. In the school we all work as a team with pupils, parents/carers, and staff being equally valued.
