IT IS AN OFFENCE TO MAKE A FALSE STATEMENT IN OR IN CONNECTION WITH THIS APPLICATION
(Criminal Law (Consolidation) (Scotland) Act 1995 Section 44(2)(b))
The contents of this Application are true to the best of my knowledge and belief

  •  Section 56 of the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005 provides that only:
    • the holder of a Premises Licence;
    • the holder of a Personal Licence; or
    • a representative of any Voluntary Organisation is eligible to apply for an Occasional Licence.

    Premises Licence/Personal Licence Holder
    An Occasional Licence has effect for such period of not more than 14 days as the Licensing Board may determine.

    Voluntary Organisation
    A Licensing Board may issue an Occasional Licence in respect of a voluntary organisation in any period of 12 months:-

    • not more than 4 Occasional Licences each having effect for a period of 4 days or more, and
    • not more than 12 Occasional Licenses each having effect for a period of less than 4 days

    provided that, in any period of 12 months the total number of days on which Occasional Licences issued in respect of the organisation have effect does not exceed 56.

    Club Premises
    A Licensing Board may issue an Occasional Licence in respect of a club premises in any period of 12
    months:-

    • not more than 4 Occasional Licences each having effect for a period of 4 days or more, and not more than 12 Occasional Licenses each having effect for a period of less than 4 days provided that, in any period of 12 months the total number of days on which Occasional Licences issued in respect of the organisation have effect does not exceed 56.

    For any period during which an Occasional Licence has effect in respect of those premises, the Conditions of any Premises Licence issued in respect of the premises are not to have effect.

  • Where alcohol is to be sold for consumption on the premises, the Act requires that a clear statement be made as to whether children or young persons are to be allowed entry and, if they are, a statement of the terms on which they are allowed entry.
  • Data Protection Act 1988 The information on this form may be held on an electronic register which may be available to members of the public on request.
  • Applications must be submitted at least 35 days before the date of the event for which the licence is sought.
