What information do we need?

The information we collect from you will include your experience of your employment with PվɫÇéƬ. This information will be collated and anonymised for reporting purposes.
You are not required to provide any personal data, however if you choose to supply this, we will use this information in our monitoring of the employee experience.
Why we need this information?
You are giving us this information to enable us to monitor and act where necessary to improve the employee experience at PվɫÇéƬ & Bute Council. We will not collect any personal data from you that isn’t needed and you have no obligation to respond to this survey, completion is voluntary.
Should you choose to respond, your feedback will be treated in confidence. It may be shared anonymously in order to improve processes or services. If you have raised matters of serious concern then further investigation may be necessary.
There is no obligation to provide any personal data, however if you choose to supply this, we may use this to contact you to follow up on feedback, should it be required.

What we will do with your information?
Your information will be collated to produce statistics and inform plans for council service delivery. If you identify a matter of serious concern in your response, we may share your response anonymously so that the concern can be addressed. If you have provided your contact details with the survey we may contact you to follow up on feedback, should it be required.
All of the information we collect from you will be processed by staff in the United Kingdom. Your data will be stored on servers located within the United Kingdom. We will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your data is kept securely and more information on how we do this can be requested from the Data Protection Officer.
How long will we keep your information?
We will usually keep any personal information that you have provided for a maximum of 1 year, after this period it will be removed if it is no longer required for the lawful purpose for which it was obtained. More information on our retention policy and procedure can be obtained from the Data Protection Officer if required.
What other purposes would we like to use your information for?
Your information will not be used for any other purposes other than those already indicated.

When you provide information to the Council, you will have the following rights:

- to data portability, where the Legal basis specified above is i) consent or ii) performance of a contract
- to request rectification or erasure of your personal data, as far as the legislation permits – please contact the Data Protection Officer and provide details of what data you wish to be rectified or erased.
