People living in P站色情片 and Bute are being given the opportunity to make their homes more energy efficient thanks to the Scottish Government鈥檚 Home Energy Efficiency Programmes for Scotland: Area Based Scheme (HEEPS: ABS).
The Scottish Government has awarded P站色情片 a grant of 拢1,745,908 to help residents make energy efficiency improvements to their properties. These include external/internal wall insulation, underfloor insulation, cavity wall insulation and loft insulation.
The programme is available to owner occupiers and private rented householders living in properties in Council Tax Bands A to C. Council Tax Band D properties are eligible if they have an energy rating of E or below. The programme is also available to island householders who live in properties in Council Tax Band E to H if they have an energy rating of E or below. Energy ratings can be estimated by contacting Home Energy Scotland on 0808 808 2282.
Policy Lead for Communities, Housing, the Islands and Gaelic, Councillor Robin Currie, said: 鈥淲e might be enjoying warmer weather just now, but winter isn鈥檛 that far away. These grants are a great opportunity for people to make their homes warmer, before the cold weather sets in, and in turn save money on energy costs.
鈥淭he scheme will have a long lasting benefit for households across P站色情片 and Bute, helping to reduce fuel poverty and carbon emission. I would urge people to make the most of this opportunity and sign up while they can.鈥
The scheme contributes towards the Scottish Government鈥檚 target of alleviating fuel poverty and reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 80% by 2050.
It also contributes towards the Local Housing Strategy鈥檚 aim to improve the overall quality and condition of housing.
