A new film celebrates the transformation of Campbeltown following investment of 拢13 million that has significantly improved the appearance and vibrancy of the town. The Campbeltown Regeneration project is shortlisted for the 2020 SURF Awards for 鈥楽cotland鈥檚 most improved place鈥

鈥淭he story of Campbeltown鈥檚 regeneration is captured perfectly in this film featuring local businesses and the community. There is a real buzz around the town with new businesses opening following the repair of over forty buildings and an extensive shopfront improvement scheme. The transformation along with improved community facilities is helping attract more people to live and work in the area.
Working together with partner organisations and the people of Campbeltown is delivering positive results. In such a challenging a year, it is heartening to see such positive signs of recovery for our local economy. 鈥
