Lochdonhead Primary School has received gold accreditation in UNICEF UK鈥檚 Rights Respecting School programme.
UNICEF is the world鈥檚 leading organisation working for children and their rights. The Rights Respecting Schools Award is awarded to schools that show commitment to promoting and realising children鈥檚鈥 rights and encouraging adults, children and young people to respect the rights of others in school.

Head Teacher at Lochdonhead, Susie Carmichael said: 鈥淲e are delighted to achieve the standard for UNICEF UK鈥檚 Rights Respecting School Award at Gold! The feedback we received from UNICEF stated 鈥業t was evident that children鈥檚 rights are embedded across the school and underpin every facet of school life.鈥
