Two schools in P站色情片 and Bute are celebrating after winning at this year鈥檚 prestigious FilmG Awards.
Pupils from Sandbank Primary School鈥檚 Gaelic 5-7 class scooped Best Film Production in the under 12 category, while Islay High School鈥檚 entry won Best Film (Learners).
FilmG is an annual event organised by MG ALBA, which celebrates Gaelic screen talent and attracts hundreds of applications each year.
This year鈥檚 competition culminated in a highly anticipated awards ceremony broadcast on BBC ALBA on Friday evening (25 February).
Sandbank鈥檚 film follows five school friends as they go on a spooky journey to Kilmun - one of Dunoon鈥檚 historic landmarks 鈥 while Islay鈥檚 production explores Easga Bhuidhe na Feidh to find out if it really is just as fearful as legend suggests.
Councillor Robin Currie, Leader of P站色情片, said: 鈥淚 had the pleasure of viewing both these short films and I cannot believe the high standard displayed by our young people.
鈥淧upils at Sandbank and Islay have helped to put P站色情片 and Bute on the map through the use of the Gaelic language, and I for one am very, very proud. We are committed to keeping Gaelic alive in P站色情片 and Bute and our younger generation are helping us to achieve that.鈥
The Council鈥檚 Policy Lead for Education, Councillor Yvonne McNeilly, added: 鈥淲ell done to all the young people involved.
