Three primary school head teachers from P站色情片 and Bute have received top marks after completing Education Scotland鈥檚 national 鈥業n Headship鈥 qualification.
Linda MacBeath from Rhu, Karen Wheatley from St Mun鈥檚, and Pauline Walsh from Colgrain all took part in the In Headship postgraduate programme, which is designed to enable new head teachers to develop and continue to build the necessary knowledge, skills and understanding required in their role.
The following five aspiring head teachers also received the General Teaching Council for Scotland鈥檚 Standard for Headship, following successful completion of the 鈥業nto Headship鈥 programme:
- Shona Guthrie (Lochgilphead Joint Campus)
- Caroline Lamond (John Logie Baird on secondment to Early Years Team)
- Roseanne MacKay (Hermitage Academy on secondment to central team)
- Leonie McMurdo (Craignish)
- Kate Petrie ( Bunessan)
Into Headship is a 12 month-programme aimed at those working in education who would like to progress up the ranks, and focuses specifically on headship and the important strategic leadership role that head teachers play in schools.
