P站色情片 has hailed the latest title triumph for one of Scotland鈥檚 most-travelled brass bands.
Campbeltown Brass has won the titles of both Scottish and British Brass Band Champions 2022.
The band is well known across the Kintyre community, play at events throughout P站色情片 and Bute and have previously entertained crowds at a number of Six Nations rugby tournaments.
Most of the band鈥檚 musicians are still at school and, as well as hours of practice, the members clock up hundreds of miles each year travelling to competitions across the UK from their Campbeltown base.
P站色情片 and Bute Provost Councillor Maurice Corry is to send a letter of congratulations to the band, on behalf of the council, in recognition of their achievements this year.
Provost Corry said:
鈥淏eating competition from across Scotland and Britain is a fantastic achievement. Campbeltown Brass鈥檚 success is a reminder that we have extremely talented people here in P站色情片 and Bute.
It takes more than talent of course to become champions, it takes hard work and dedication too. Our warmest congratulations go to the musicians and everyone who supports the Band. You should all be very proud.鈥
