A new Community Hub in Kilcreggan opens on 1 October, making it easier for residents to access a range of council resources and information.
Cove and Kilcreggan Community Hub and P站色情片 are working in partnership to create the pilot Council Community Hub, located in the Post Office/Shop in the village.
The Post Office and shop owners will manage the hub as a voluntary service for anyone in the local area who is unable to travel to the council鈥檚 customer service point in Helensburgh. Open six days a week during Post Office/shop opening hours, the Hub offers the following services:
- Paper forms: Access commonly requested forms for services and benefits for those who can鈥檛 or prefer not to fill them out online.
- Interactive touchscreens: Tap into a direct link to the council website to access services and information.
- Leaflets and brochures: Information on a wide range of services and benefits available to you.
- Free bin calendars: Pick up a free coloured bin calendar for Cove and Kilcreggan.
Councillor Iain Shonny Paterson, Deputy Policy Lead for Community Planning and Corporate Services said:
鈥淲orking with the Cove and Kilcreggan Community Hub, we want rural communities to have access to council resources they want and need. We know that some residents are unable to travel to our Customer Service Point in Helensburgh and others may not be digitally connected.
鈥淭his new pilot service brings together council services in the heart of the community making it easier for people to get the information they need. We鈥檙e keen to hear feedback when the service launches in October and to know if there are other services or information the community would like to see at the Hub. Based on the success of this pilot, the council will then look at the potential roll out of further Hubs across rural communities.鈥
