You will be aware from our letter of 17th January that strike action is planned for Tuesday 28th February and Wednesday 1st of March in relation to ongoing teacher pay negotiations.

Funding to support a wide range of popular cultural events and festivals in Pվɫ��Ƭ and Bute has been approved by the Council’s Policy and Resources Committee.

Pվɫ��Ƭ has been working with its schools and third sector partners to roll out a new, innovative scheme that will see school uniforms that children have outgrown, either reused or recycled - saving peoples’ purse and the planet.

To provide further support with the cost of living, Pվɫ��Ƭ is issuing Love Local cards, worth £120 to island households in receipt of Council Tax Reduction

Pվɫ��Ƭ is rolling out a new online payment system in its schools that will help reduce handling cash and reduce food waste.

An increase in people cycling, walking and wheeling to school and improved links between local communities – these are just some of the benefits behind a proposed new active travel route between Lochgilphead’s Front Green and the Crinan Canal.
