Blue Badges (Disabled Parking badges Scheme)

The Blue Badge scheme is for drivers or passengers with severe mobility problems and people with a mental disorder or cognitive impairment, providing a range of on-street parking concessions enabling holders to park closer to where they need to go.

What are Blue Badges for?

The Scheme allows badge holders to park on the streets of towns and cities.  It cannot be used in private car parks, privately owned roads or at airports where indicated.

If you are unsure as to whether you can park in a street, nearby street signs should help.
